Watchguard · Fireware Os · CVE-2026-13086
**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions**
WatchGuard Fireware OS (affected versions not specified)
**Description**
A stack-based buffer overflow occurs in the epm (Endpoint Protection Manager) service, which is utilized by the deprecated Mobile Security feature. This flaw allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. A stack-based buffer overflow is a condition where a program writes more data to a buffer located on the stack than the buffer is allocated to hold, potentially overwriting adjacent memory.
**Recommendations**
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
As a temporary mitigation, disable the deprecated Mobile Security feature to prevent exploitation of the epm service.
