**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Flatpak (affected versions not specified) **Description** On multi-user systems, a local user with an active session can downgrade a system-wide application to an older version. This is achieved by removing the application's remote reference using the unprivileged system-helper `RemoveLocalRef()` method, which causes the anti-downgrade check to fail because it cannot find a reference date. This action allows a malicious actor to expose other users on the same system to software versions containing known security flaws. **Recommendations** At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.

**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** PackageKit (affected versions not specified) **Description** An authorization flaw exists in PackageKit when using the dnf5 backend. The system skips the polkit authorization check for transactions that include the `SIMULATE` (dry-run) flag. However, the `RepoRemove()` function ignores this flag and executes the actual transaction due to a logic error in its guard condition `(role == REPO REMOVE || !SIMULATE)`, which always evaluates to true for repository removal. This allows an unprivileged local user to perform an actual package uninstallation by falsely claiming to simulate the action, impacting the integrity and availability of the protected information. **Recommendations** At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.

**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Oracle VM VirtualBox versions prior to 5.2.36 Oracle VM VirtualBox versions prior to 6.0.16 Oracle VM VirtualBox versions prior to 6.1.2 **Description** The issue is related to a lack of protection for internal data in the Core component of Oracle VM VirtualBox. It allows a low-privileged attacker with logon access to the infrastructure where Oracle VM VirtualBox executes to compromise Oracle VM VirtualBox. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all Oracle VM VirtualBox accessible data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of Oracle VM VirtualBox accessible data. **Recommendations** For versions prior to 5.2.36, update to version 5.2.36 or later. For versions prior to 6.0.16, update to version 6.0.16 or later. For versions prior to 6.1.2, update to version 6.1.2 or later.

**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** libgit2 versions prior to 0.26.2 **Description** The issue is related to an integer overflow in the `read entry()` function of the `index.c` component in libgit2. This overflow occurs while decompressing a compressed prefix length. The exploitation of this issue allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service, specifically an out-of-bounds read, by using a crafted repository index file. **Recommendations** For versions prior to 0.26.2, update to version 0.26.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to crafted repository index files to minimize the risk of exploitation.

**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** libgit2 versions prior to 0.26.2 **Description** The issue is related to a double free error in the index.c:read entry() function of libgit2, a C implementation of the Git methods. This error can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause a denial of service. The exploitation is possible via a crafted repository index file. **Recommendations** For versions prior to 0.26.2, update to version 0.26.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the index.c:read entry() function until a patch is available.
