Winamp versions prior to 5.6
Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an application crash. This is achieved by using a Matroska Video (MKV) file that contains a string with a crafted length, which is processed by the in mkv plugin.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 5.6, update to version 5.6 or later to resolve the issue.
