Description
The issue is related to the class file parser, which allows remote authenticated users to cause a denial of service. This can result in memory consumption or an infinite loop when a crafted attribute length field in a class file is processed. The problem arises from the validation of a length field at the wrong time.
Recommendations
For IBM Java version 1.4.2 SR13 FP9, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
