Description
The issue allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on /tmp/TTYDEVS when TTY information caching is enabled in the ProcessTable.pm module for Perl.
Recommendations
For Proc::ProcessTable module version 0.45, consider disabling TTY information caching as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the /tmp/TTYDEVS file to minimize the risk of exploitation.
