Apple iOS versions prior to 6
Description
The issue concerns the CFNetwork component in Apple iOS, which fails to properly identify the host portion of a URL. This allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by constructing an HTTP request with an incorrect hostname derived from a malformed URL.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 6, update to a version 6 or later to resolve the issue.
