Description
The issue is related to the
br parse ip options function in the Linux kernel, which does not properly initialize a certain data structure. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by leveraging connectivity to a network interface that uses an Ethernet bridge device.Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 2.6.39, update to version 2.6.39 or later to resolve the issue.
