Apple iOS versions prior to 6.1
Description
The issue concerns the Identity Services in Apple iOS, where validation failures of AppleID certificates are not handled properly. This could potentially allow physically proximate attackers to bypass authentication by exploiting an incorrect assignment of an empty string value to an AppleID.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 6.1, update to version 6.1 or later to resolve the issue.
