Description
The issue is related to a memory leak in the IKEv1 implementation, allowing remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via unspecified IPv4 or IPv6 IKE packets. This is a denial of service (DoS) vulnerability in the Cisco IOS Software Internet Key Exchange (IKE) feature.
Recommendations
For Cisco IOS version 15.1, update to a newer version that addresses this vulnerability, as workarounds that mitigate this vulnerability are not available.
