Description
A denial of service issue exists due to the improper handling of a specially crafted font file, which could cause the computer to stop responding and restart. This issue is related to the parsing of OpenType fonts.
Recommendations
For Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2003 SP2, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2, Windows 7 Gold and SP1, and Windows 8, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
