Description
A buffer overflow issue in the dsmtca component of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager allows local users to gain privileges. This issue affects systems running on UNIX and Linux.
Recommendations
For versions 5.5.4.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.4.0.
For versions 6.1.0 through 6.1.5.4, update to a version later than 6.1.5.4.
For versions 6.2.0 through 6.2.4.7, update to a version later than 6.2.4.7.
For versions 6.3.0 through 6.3.0.17, update to a version later than 6.3.0.17.
