A stack-based buffer overflow issue exists in the openSharedCacheFile function in dyld.cpp, which can be exploited by attackers using a long string in the
DYLD SHARED CACHE DIR environment variable, making it easier to conduct untethering attacks.Recommendations
For dyld in Apple iOS versions 5.1.x through 6.1.3, consider restricting access to the
DYLD SHARED CACHE DIR environment variable to minimize the risk of exploitation.
