Description
The issue allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via a modified application package file (APK) that does not violate the cryptographic signature. This is probably due to multiple entries in a Zip file with the same name, where one entry is validated but the other entry is installed.
Recommendations
For Android versions 1.6 through 4.2, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
