Description
The issue is related to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the System.Web.Mvc.dll library of the ASP.NET Model View Controller (MVC) framework. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted web page, potentially bypassing security restrictions and conducting cross-site scripting attacks.
Recommendations
For versions 2.0 through 5.1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
