Google Picasa versions prior to 3.9.0 Build 137.69
Description
The issue is related to an integer overflow in Picasa3.exe, which can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. This is achieved by triggering a heap-based buffer overflow using a long TIFF tag, such as a Canon RAW CR2 file with a long TIFF StripByteCounts tag.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 3.9.0 Build 137.69, update to version 3.9.0 Build 137.69 or later to resolve the issue.
