Description
The issue concerns the configuration process of the router, which relies on accessing the 192.168.1.1 IP address. However, the documentation advises users to access a DNS hostname instead, which does not always resolve to 192.168.1.1. This makes it easier for remote attackers to hijack the configuration traffic by controlling the server associated with that hostname.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
