Description
The issue allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via a file: URL, specifically through the OpenUrlToBuffer method in the BWOCXRUN.BwocxrunCtrl.1 ActiveX control in bwocxrun.ocx.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 7.2, update to version 7.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the OpenUrlToBuffer method in the BWOCXRUN.BwocxrunCtrl.1 ActiveX control until a patch is applied.
