Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted request that is not properly handled when logging. This occurs due to improper handling of requests.
Recommendations
For spacewalk-java versions 1.2.39, 1.7.54, and 2.0.2, consider restricting access to the logging functionality until a patch is available.
For Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite versions 5.4 through 5.6, restrict access to the vulnerable components to minimize the risk of exploitation.
