Description
The issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate, as the application does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers.
Recommendations
For Mobiscope Local (aka ehs.mobiscope.kernel) version 1.05, consider disabling the SSL connection feature until a patch is available that properly verifies X.509 certificates from SSL servers. Restrict access to sensitive information to minimize the risk of exploitation.
