Description
The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands via crafted HTTP requests. This is due to insufficient input validation in the device's software.
Recommendations
For Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server version X8.5.2, consider restricting access to the administrator web interface until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP requests to necessary operations only. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
