Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the keyword parameter in a ByEge action. This occurs in the module/search/function.php file.

Recommendations For Ganesha Digital Library (GDL) version 4.2, consider restricting access to the vulnerable module until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the keyword parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
