Description
The issue is related to an integer signedness error in the Bluetooth implementation, specifically in IOBluetoothFamily. This error allows attackers to potentially execute arbitrary code in a privileged context or cause a denial of service by writing to kernel memory. The attack can be initiated via a crafted app.
Recommendations
For OS X versions prior to 10.10, update to version 10.10 or later to resolve the issue.
