Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Android operating system setup wizard. It allows a local attacker to modify settings or bypass the reset protection mechanism.
Recommendations
For Android versions prior to 5.1.1 LMY49F, update to version 5.1.1 LMY49F or later.
For Android 6.0 before 2016-01-01, ensure that all updates up to 2016-01-01 are applied.
