Description The issue is related to incorrect link resolution before file access in the zarafa-autorespond application, part of the Zarafa Collaboration Platform. This can be exploited by a local attacker to gain elevated privileges through a symlink attack on /tmp/zarafa-vacation-*.

Recommendations For versions prior to 7.2.1, update to version 7.2.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the /tmp/zarafa-vacation-* files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
