Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the MediaTek power-management driver for the Android operating system. It allows a remote attacker to elevate their privileges using a specially crafted application.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 2016-06-01, update the driver to a version released after 2016-06-01 to resolve the issue.
