The issue is related to a lack of address validation in the
drivers/misc/qseecom.c component of the Qualcomm drivers in Android. This allows attackers to potentially gain privileges by using a crafted application.Recommendations
For Android versions prior to 2016-07-05 on Nexus 7 (2013) devices, update to a version released after 2016-07-05 to resolve the issue.
