Description
The issue is related to the improper verification of X.509 certificates from HTTPS servers by WKWebView in WebKit. This allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
Recommendations
For iOS versions prior to 10, update to iOS 10 or later.
For iTunes versions prior to 12.5.1 on Windows, update to iTunes 12.5.1 or later.
For Safari versions prior to 10, update to Safari 10 or later.
