Description
The issue allows remote administrators to affect availability via vectors related to Server: Log. It is an easily exploitable vulnerability that allows a high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server, resulting in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of MySQL Server.
Recommendations
For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.12 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.7.12 to resolve the issue.
