Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted packet. It is due to insufficient input validation by the affected software. An attacker could exploit this by sending a specially crafted packet to the targeted system, allowing them to cause a denial of service condition.

Recommendations For Cisco IOS version 15.6(1)T, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For Cisco IOS XE, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Data in Motion (DMo) application until a patch is available.
