Description
A memory error in the Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) Link State Advertisement (LSA) functionality could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition by sending a crafted OSPF LSA update to an affected device. This could result in the OSPF process restarting when the crafted update is received.
Recommendations
For Cisco IOS XR version 5.2.2, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
