Description
The issue is related to the wav convert2mono function in lib/wav.c, which does not properly validate WAV data. This can be exploited by remote attackers using a crafted file, potentially leading to a denial of service due to incorrect malloc and heap-based buffer overflow, or possibly having other unspecified impacts.
Recommendations
For SWFTools version 0.9.2, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
