Description
The issue arises from the incorrect handling of link-state advertisements (LSAs) in the OSPF protocol implementation. A rogue LSA can exploit this, causing continuous sending of LSAs between two routers, potentially leading to a loop or loss of connectivity.
Recommendations
For versions 6.2.x prior to 6.2.8, update to version 6.2.8 or later.
For versions 6.3.x prior to 6.3.3, update to version 6.3.3 or later.
