Amazon Kindle for PC versions prior to 1.19
Description
The issue allows local users to execute arbitrary code and conduct DLL hijacking attacks via a Trojan horse DLL in the current working directory of the Kindle Setup installer.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 1.19, update to version 1.19 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the execution of files from untrusted locations to minimize the risk of exploitation.
