Samsung Android devices with L(5.0/5.1), M(6.0), and N(7.x) software
Description
The issue allows attackers to obtain sensitive information by reading a world-readable log file after an unexpected reboot.
Recommendations
For Samsung Android devices with L(5.0/5.1) software, update to a version that does not have this issue.
For Samsung Android devices with M(6.0) software, update to a version that does not have this issue.
For Samsung Android devices with N(7.x) software, update to a version that does not have this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the log file to minimize the risk of exploitation.
