Description
The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a server crash due to a NULL pointer dereference. This can be achieved by sending a zero-length EAP-PWD packet.
Recommendations
For FreeRADIUS versions 3.0 through 3.0.8, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent remote attackers from causing a denial of service.
