OSSEC Web UI versions prior to 0.9
Description
The issue is related to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. The vulnerability is due to an unanchored regex in the site/search.php file.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 0.9, update to version 0.9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the site/search.php file until a patch is available.
