Description
The issue is caused by the software writing data past the end, or before the beginning, of the intended buffer in the NVIDIA Tegra X1 TZ Widevine TA, which may lead to escalation of privileges. This is a result of a buffer overflow vulnerability.
Recommendations
For Android versions prior to the 2018-05-05 security patch level, update to a version with a security patch level of 2018-05-05 or later to resolve the issue.
