Description
The issue concerns a driver in Sophos Tester Tool that accepts a specific DeviceIoControl code without properly checking its argument, which is a memory address. If a NULL pointer or an invalid address is passed, the driver can cause a Blue Screen of Death. This can lead to a persistent denial of service on the machine if exploited at boot time by a program or malware.
