Description
The issue is related to a lack of input validation for Precision Time Protocol (PTP) traffic. An unauthenticated, remote attacker could exploit this by injecting malformed traffic into an affected device, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. This could result in services on the device becoming unresponsive.
