Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read in HGFS, which may lead to information disclosure or privilege escalation on guest VMs. For exploitation to be possible, file sharing must be enabled.
Recommendations
For versions 10.x and prior before 10.3.0, update to version 10.3.0 or later to resolve the issue.
