The issue allows an attacker to bypass required authentication by including extra characters in the directory name.
Recommendations
For Echelon SmartServer 1, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue, if available.
For Echelon SmartServer 2 versions prior to 4.11.007, update to release 4.11.007 or later.
For Echelon i.LON 100, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
