Description:
The issue is related to a possible double free in the
doGetThumb and getThumbnail functions of MtpServer. This could lead to a local elevation of privilege, enabling code execution as a privileged process with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not required for exploitation.Recommendations:
For Android versions 7.0, 7.1.1, 7.1.2, 8.0, 8.1, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
