Description
A privilege escalation issue exists due to improper input validation in the helper service. This allows an attacker with local access to modify the file system as root.
Recommendations
For version 4.04, consider disabling the helper service as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict local access to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
