Description
The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Security component of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the application. Successful exploitation can result in the takeover of PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools.
Recommendations
For versions 8.55, 8.56, and 8.57, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
