Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) software installer versions on Windows* 7, 8.1, and 10
Description
A race condition in the software installer for some Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) products may allow an unprivileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
Recommendations
For Windows* 7, 8.1, and 10, consider restricting local access to the software installer until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the installation of Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) software until the issue is resolved.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
