Description
The issue allows for a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack against administrative users. This can be exploited through the "/ibi apps/WFServlet(.ibfs)" endpoint, potentially leading to the creation of an administrative user.
Recommendations
For WebFOCUS Business Intelligence version 8.0 (SP6), as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the /ibi apps/WFServlet(.ibfs) endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
