Description The issue arises when a user types their password and uses the "Show Password" feature on a website, which changes the password field into a textbook field, revealing the typed password. If a software keyboard that remembers user input is used, the change in the password field type can result in a keyboard layout change, allowing the software keyboard to remember the typed password.

Recommendations For Firefox versions prior to 83, update to version 83 or later to resolve the issue. For Firefox ESR versions prior to 78.5, update to version 78.5 or later to resolve the issue. For Thunderbird versions prior to 78.5, update to version 78.5 or later to resolve the issue.
