Description The issue allows attackers to inject or modify methods and properties of the global object constructor due to a prototype pollution vulnerability in the json8-merge-patch npm package.

Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.3, update to version 1.0.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the json8-merge-patch package until a patch is applied.
