Description
The issue concerns the SPI Protected Range Registers (PRx) in Lenovo ThinkPad systems. After resuming from S3 sleep mode, the PRx is not set in various BIOS versions. However, the SMM BIOS Write Protection remains in place, providing sufficient protection to the systems.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
