Description
The issue concerns the failure to validate the basic constraints of the certificate authority, which could lead to man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks.
Recommendations
For versions up to and including 7.5, update to a version that properly validates certificate authority basic constraints to prevent MITM attacks.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
